Gary Wright, who sadly passed away at the age of 80, is survived by several family members. He is survived by his second wife, Rose, as well as his ex-wife, Tina. From his first marriage to Tina, he had two sons, Justin and Dorian. Justin was the one who confirmed Gary’s passing to TMZ, and he mentioned that Gary’s family was present by his side during his final moments.

While there isn’t much publicly known about Gary’s current spouse, Rose, or his ex-wife, Tina, it’s worth noting that both women maintained a low profile despite Gary’s fame.

As for the two sons, Justin’s profession remains unclear, while Dorian has established himself as a professional yoga instructor. Dorian shared heartfelt tributes to his father on his Instagram account, where he has amassed close to 1000 followers. He posted a touching video reel showcasing cherished childhood moments with his dad, including times by the pool, bonding over horseriding, and more. The footage also captures moments of Gary and his children enjoying snowy walks.

In another poignant post, Dorian shared the details of Gary’s final moments, recounting, “This morning I had the privilege of sitting in lotus position by my father’s side, chanting and meditating for 2 hours. As I chanted his final chant, I witnessed him take his last earthly breath. Thank you, Dad, for allowing me to assist you in transitioning from your physical body to the Astral Plane.”

Gary Wright battled a serious health condition before passing away

According to Gary’s son, Justin, as reported by TMZ, his father had been in a battle against Parkinson’s disease for approximately 5 or 6 years. Additionally, he had also been grappling with Lewy body dementia, which had emerged shortly after the onset of Parkinson’s.

Lewy body dementia is recognized as the second most prevalent form of dementia, following Alzheimer’s disease. This condition is characterized by the formation of protein deposits known as Lewy bodies within the nerve cells of the brain. These deposits significantly impact the brain’s cognitive functions, memory, and motor skills.

Justin further disclosed to the media outlet that Gary’s Parkinson’s disease had progressed rapidly, resulting in significant limitations in his mobility and ability to communicate.
